Early to Bed, Early to Rise

Well, maybe not the early to bed part.

Man, he bugged me to death last night. It wouldn't have been so bad if he'd just been wanting attention. But he wanted attention and to be annoying. For example, I was sitting in the recliner and it wasn't enough that he was in my lap staring at me. Nope, he had to pretend that he was a little dog and climb up my shoulder and onto the back of the recliner. Then I had to twist and turn to bring him down so he didn't break his neck. Combine that with barking at any noise from the hallway and I got a little frayed.

However, he did go to bed just fine. But, as the title of this post mentions, he wanted to go potty at 4:20 AM. So off we went into the frigid early morning. He let me go back to sleep until 5:45. Ugh. I tried to catch a few Z's on the couch, but that only made him revert to his ear licking madness.

Good news: He ate pretty well with the Purina One again. We might have a winner; we'll see how dinner goes.

I started looking for obedience training options today. Right now, it's looking like I go for the cheaper 8 weeks, 8 sessions at Petco, or get very expensive private training at the one local kennel.
